Mango Milkshake is a tasty and refreshing smoothie for hot and summer days. I know the mango season (Maampazhakkaalam) has started in Kerala and India, after shock of that Singapore also started mango season in little India and fruit shops 🙂 . In my home all are mango lovers, so we celebrate this hot season with maximum mango recipes and you can see that here 😉 🙂 Yes! It is very tasty and filling drink and easy to prepare. You know that sometimes I quit dinner and drink a full glass of mango milkshake; it will fill me up and gave me a cool and refreshing mood. It is a healthy recipe for kids because it contains fresh milk, mango and ice cream (I add some ice cream to please kids). |Ripe Mango||3(medium size)||Peeled and Diced|
|Fresh Milk||2 cups||Chilled|
|Sugar||4 Tablespoon||Adjust as per your taste and mango's sweetness|
|Vanilla Ice Cream||1 Scoop|
|Ice Cubes||Few||For Garnishing|
Method For Mango Milk Shake
1. Place mango, ice cream and sugar in a blender.
2. Blend and make a smooth Paste.
3. Add milk.
4. Blend again (whip it using slow mode, otherwise it will spill) and make a smooth form.
5. Serve chilled with ice cubes and enjoy!
Try to use chilled fresh milk for this recipe. Do not use hot milk, it will be curdle.
Choose ripe and fleshy mangoes and adjust the sugar quantity according to the sweetness of mango.
If you like light textured mango milkshake, add some chilled water along with milk or add more ice cubes during the serving time.
You can also add a pinch cardamom powder or saffron for a special aroma and flavor.
