Prawns/ Shrimps with Curry leaves Fry (Konju Kariveppilla Fry)

Hi Guys, Hope everyone is doing good. Are you exhausted from reading my long recipes and cooking experience? Don’t worry 🙂 Today I shall share a simple but royal recipe for you. I am sure all of you like my magic dish very much because it is one of my families favorite too.

Recipe Type Starter/Side Dish
Serve 1 or 2
Cooking Time 10 to 15 minutes

Ingredients to prepare Prawn Fry

Ingredient Quantity Notes
Prawns/Shrimps 250 Gram Peeled and cleaned but retain the tail
Ginger Small Piece
Garlic 2 cloves
Shallots 2 Numbers
Turmeric Powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Chilly Powder 1 Teaspoon
Pepper Powder 1 Teaspoon
Meat Masala 1/2 Teaspoon
Yogurt/Lime 1 Teaspoon
Curry Leaves 2 Stems
Salt As per your taste
Oil For frying

Method

Blend all the ingredients except curry leaves and make a paste.Marinate it with prawns and curry leaves. Refrigerate it for 15 to 30 minutes. Heat oil in a pan. Fry prawns with the curry leaves till golden brown. Serve it hot and crispy. Enjoy!


Yogurt gives a fresh taste. If anyone dislike yogurt choose lime instead.
