Salmon Healthy Information, Recipes and Tips

Salmon is the common name for several types of fish in the family Salmonidae. They are born in fresh water, migrate to the ocean, then return to fresh water to reproduce. It is an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids which are necessary for optimum maternal and infant health. It has lots of vitamins, appreciable amount of calcium, iron, zinc, magnesium and phosphorus. Its fatty acids protect our heart, brain, eyes and bones. Yeah! It has lots of nutrition’s but bit expensive too ;-( 🙂 . No worries, try to eat this healthy fish occasionally because it is good for our health and saves from lots of medical expenses 😉 🙂 Salmon is sold in many different forms. Fresh salmon is available whole or in steak or fillet form. Salmon is also available frozen, canned, dried or smoked.You can consume salmon as fresh and tender, it is very healthy. If anybody dislike its raw smell, you can bake, pan roast/fry or  smoke salmon with your desirable herbs and spices.
