Spaghetti With Bolognese Sauce

Spaghetti with Bolognese Sauce is a favourite Italian delicacy. It is a meat based sauce with more tomatoes and some vegetables. In this recipe I have modify with some spices with normal Italian herbs because I want some spicy sauce. When I came to Singapore it was one of my favourite dishes beside Indian food. I like its fresh and juicy taste. In my home it is an unavoidable dish with Chicken Fillet, it’s really yummy!!! I think this recipe would help new generation mothers because now day’s teenagers and children like these kinds of variety foods. Ingredients for the sauce

Ingredient Quantity Notes
Beef 300 gram Minced
Oil 2 Tablespoon
Dried Oregano 1 Teaspoon
Dried Basil Leaves 1 Teaspoon
Ground Thyme 1 Teaspoon
Red Chilly Powder 1 Tablespoon
Black Pepper powder 1 Tablespoon
All Spice Powder A Pinch
Carrots 2 Medium Size Diced Finely
Celery 1 Rib Diced Finely
Capsicum (Red / Yellow / Green) 1 medium size Diced Finely
Garlic 6 Cloves Chopped Finely
Large Onions 2(medium size) Chopped finely
Tomato 2 (Medium Size) Chopped Finely
Cherry Tomatoes 10 Numbers
Tomato Puree 4 Boil tomatoes and blend it
Grated Cheese 2 Tablespoon For Garnishing Purpose (optional)
Water 2 Cups
Salt As per your taste

Method

008 (640x480)010 (640x474)Heat oil in a sizable sauce pan. Fry chopped onions and garlic. Add minced meat and all the spices. Fry until the meat brown.013 (640x479) 019 (640x462) Add chopped tomatoes and stir well. Add remaining vegetables and stir continuously. Add tomato puree and stir again. Add water and salt as per your taste and cover it .Cook it for 20-30 minutes in a medium heat.Then remove lid and cook sauce until gravy form. Turn off the heat.Your spicy bolognese sauce is ready.

Ingredients for spaghetti noodles/pasta

Ingredient Quantity Notes
Spaghetti Noodles/Pasta 500 Gram Serving Per Package 5-6 People
Water 4 Liters 500 Gram pasta usually needs 4 liters water
Salt As per your taste
Oil 2 Tablespoons It prevents pasta from sticking

Method

Heat water in a large pan (you need a large pan with enough space so that pasta will not stick together). When it’s boiled add oil and salt. Add pasta. No need to cover the pan. Cook it 10-15 minutes . If pasta is cooked, take one noodle and cut and check. If not cooked then let it cook for 1-5 minutes.If cooked, drain the pasta and shock them in cold running water(tap water). When the noodles is ready, you could serve it with bolognese sauce and vegetable salad.
